The sporty, yet practical, hybrid of a Toyota Prius and a Honda Accord is now getting the attention of buyers.
The new EcoSport has a number of features you may not have considered before, including a large electric motor, which can be charged up to 100kmh, and a range of 200km.
The fuel-saving, power-draining, petrol-and-diesel hybrid is now on sale in Australia, the United States and Canada, with an estimated 10,000 units to be sold by the end of the year.

In America, Tesla’s $35,000 sedan is available in three trim levels with a range up to 238 kilometres, while the $65,000 Tesla Roadster Energi is now available in two trim levels.
While the new model is available only in Australia and Canada in the US, it is expected to be available globally, with Tesla already selling it in the UK, Japan and Germany.
The Australian government has set a target of a 20 per cent cut in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, compared to 1990 levels, and it is set to increase funding for green vehicles by 25 per cent by 2020.
The carmaker has also pledged to cut emissions by 50 per cent on current models by 2025.
